The 8th annual De Beauvoir Association Party in the Park takes place in the gardens of De Beauvoir Square from 2-5 pm on the afternoon of Saturday 7 July. As usual it provides lots of fun for all the family, including children's attractions which are all free of charge.
There will also be a tombola, a raffle, and a fire engine visiting from Kingsland Fire Station and police officers and special constables from the Safer Neighbourhood Team. The RCM Brass Band will again be providing music throughout the day.
The organisers would also welcome volunteers on the day to assist with things like erecting gazebos, serving tea, selling raffle tickets, tidying up and lots more. If you can help, please come to De Beauvoir Square on Monday 2 July at 7 pm for an informal meeting. Please let them know if you are coming or if you can help but cannot come or if you would just like to donate a prize for the tombola.
