Public Consultation - Hackney Car Club bays.

Hackney Council is proposing to install more Car Club bays in the local area.

Hackney Car Club offers nearby vehicles for members to hire for trips which cannot be made by public transport, cycling or walking, with no need for parking permits, maintenance, taxes or insurance. Sessions can be booked by phone or online.

Under the proposals two new bays will be created by converting existing resident permit bays for the sole use of Car Club vehicles and will be clearly marked with use monitored by parking attendants.

The two new bays are proposed for Sandringham Road and Whitmore Road.

The two proposal documents can be downloaded below and the consultation questionnaire can be completed online by following this link.
The questionnaire can also be returned by post or via email to carclub@hackney.gov.uk
Or call 020 8356 8475 to have your say.
The consultation is open until the 1st of October.
