The final proposals for changes to Hackney electoral ward boundaries have been published by the Local Government Boundary Commission for England (LGBCE).
The LGBCE have also announced that residents will now have an extra chance to comment on the proposals.
In short it is proposed that De Beauvoir will become a two-councillor ward which will cover the area from Balls Pond Road down to the canal, bounded by Southgate Road to the west and Kingsland Road to the east.
This will mean that the current area of De Beauvoir ward to the south of the canal will become part of the new Hoxton East and Shoreditch ward.
