Slashstroke Magazine and Create London are organising a fashion course for 16 to 17 year olds at the Rose Lipman Centre from the 2nd to the 4th of July. The aim is to make real connections between east London youth and the fashion industry by inviting designers whose work is inspired by youth culture to donate outfits. These will then form the basis for workshops in photography, styling and image making, creating a platform to further education opportunities and career paths.
Participants will gain first-hand information and have contact with fashion industry professionals and educators.
The project is sponsored by Middlesex University who will offer participants a certificate of qualification on completion of the project.
