The De Beauvoir Ward Community First Panel was set up in order to distribute £30,000 of funding provided by the Cabinet Office to support social action and civil society in our ward.
In 2012 when the Panel was set up, the following priorities were agreed:
- Bringing different communities in De Beauvoir ward closer together
- Developing opportunities and skills for people in De Beauvoir
- To improve the look and feel of the area where we live, such as environmental friendly schemes.
- To encourage healthy living
The De Beauvoir Community First website has been fully updated with details on previous grants and how to apply for grant funding as well as full contact details.
The deadline for applications is 30th September 2013.
