Anjin 1600: Edo Wonderpark. Art Exhibition.

'Anjin 1600: Edo Wonderpark' is an exhibition by David Blandy now being held in the Rose Lipman Centre, 43 De Beauvoir Road.

This is a multi-room installation incorporating the second part of an anime-styled animation. The work is based upon a re-imagining of the story of William Adams (1564-1620), a sea navigator known as the first Englishman to set foot in Japan in 1600.

The exhibition is 'a meditation on colonialism, cultural tourism and identity'.

Opening times are Wednesday to Saturday, 12 till 6pm until the 26th of October.
Presented in conjunction with Create London, further details are available here.
