A second Barclays bike station is due to be opened in De Beauvoir ward, this time next to Reliance Wharf at the south of Hertford Road.
The docking station, which - as you can see from the picture below - is currently under construction, is due to be ready to open by the end of next week. It will be one of the further north station in the whole scheme, sited just north of De Beauvoir ward's other station at the Britannia Leisure Centre.
Over the past two years we have pushed TfL to expand the London Cycle hire scheme to De Beauvoir and it's great to see that pressure bringing results. The station is due to open by the end of next week (although, judging by the current state of the site, it's opening may be delayed).

Great result. Well done. Hope it doesn't end here though. Would be nice to see docking stations further north into de beauvoir and extend up towards Dalston.
This docking station site seems to have been abandoned and the docking station points paved over - has this now been cancelled?
