Young Hackney September

There is a range of exciting late summer/early autumn activities for young people taking place in and around De Beauvoir in September.

Dalston Roof Garden Clothes Club
Date: 4 September 7.00 – 11.00pm.
Price: £10 in advance, £15 on the door.
Bring 3 items of quality clothing and swap and revolutionise your wardrobe at this community clothes swap. Details available at

Circus Central
Date: Saturday 7 September, 12.00 – 5.00pm.
Venue: Narrow Way, Hackney E8.
Price: Free.
Age group: all ages.
Acrobat troop Mimbre will be taking over the Narrow Way performing their show Falling Up. Plus: Betty Brawn -Strong Lady wowing the crowd with feats of strength and Other Half with their amazing new show Two for Tea. Workshops and cycle surgery included! Just turn up.

My Haggerston

The result of a year-long collaboration with local organisations and residents to discover more about Haggerston's rich and vibrant history.

YH World Film Club
Dates: Every Wednesday 6.00 – 8.00pm

Age group: 14 – 26
Meet and share ideas with other film makers. There's a bit of teaching, a chance to ask and offer support and watch great examples of shorts, music videos and animations. Popcorn and drinks provided.
